Chelsea has been given a huge boost in advance of their crunch clash with Liverpool as Thiago Silva has come back to full rehearsal.
The experienced defender was part of the full session at Cobham on Tuesday and is now trying to win a place in Thomas Tuchel’s team for Thursday’s journey to Anfield.
But Tuchel will most likely be supported by the Brazilian’s presence ahead of an important fixture in the first four races.
It seems he will also have Callum Hudson-Odoi present as he was spotted as part of Chelsea’s players in spite of being replaced at half-time during Sunday’s 0-0 draw with United.
Brazilian duo Alisson and Fabinho are both in strife, while forward Diogo Jota could also appear for the first time from December, even though he has shaken off a current illness.
“Alisson and Fabinho, I’m very sure [will be readily obtainable],” Klopp stated at Liverpoolfc.com.
“With Diogo, he was with us in the hotel [for the Sheffield United fixture], but he felt ill overnight and we had to take him home.
Abramovich was said to have met Ken Bates just once with the two men that had an agreement to sell the club.
“It depends how fast he will regain his health.
“He was in the group and as I said previously, he practiced with the team and it all looked really great but sadly he became sick overnight.
“I guess he will be readily obtainable though am not so sure.”
